Keep grounded in faith during the 24 hour news cycle that claims our attention. We will examine the news of the day in light of Scripture. We will take our cue from the sermon each Sunday. Grab your coffee and join us in the Chapel. The seminar will meet from 10:00 to 10:45. It will be led by Pastor Brooks and Pastor Rounsley.
A Memory Café is a place where you can go to just socialize and have fun with other people who have worries about their memory. At a memory café, people can relax and just be themselves, enjoy activities, share their stories and socialize with others, knowing that no one judges them and all who are there are going through almost the same things that they go through every day. We have no real agenda except to enjoy each other’s company. There may be games, crafts, music, art, speakers, and occasional field trips to local places of interest to the group. All in formation shared at the memory cafe will be held strictly confidential. Who should come? Individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment, early-stage Alzheimer’s or memory loss, and their care partners. When and where will it be held? Every Monday 10:00 a.m. to Noon, starting October 16, 2017 United Methodist Church, 129 S. High Street, West Chester
