Here at West Chester United Methodist Church, we’ll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it. Whether you need childcare or are looking for a place for your teens, a greeter will be nearby to help you get where you need to go.
Getting to the church:
We are located at 129 S. High St, West Chester, PA. The church is located at the corner of High Street and Barnard St, two blocks south of the Chester County Courthouse. Click here for a Map and Directions.
Where do I park?
Our main lot is just north of the church, accessible from High Street. On Sunday mornings the parking spaces in the back of the church are reserved for handicapped parking only.
Parking is free at all metered spots and in the Bicentennial Garage (one short block away) on Sundays.
In addition, parking spaces marked “Santander Bank” are available free of charge in the lower portion of the garage behind the Santander Bank at Church and Market Streets during the following hours: Sunday: all day, Monday-Wednesday: after 4:00 pm, Thursday-Friday: after 6:00 pm.

How do I find my way?
Stop by the Welcome Desk when you first enter at the top of the stairs.
What do I wear?
Come comfortably. Some of our attendees wear ‘Sunday Best’, but most wear comfortable clothes. Don’t worry about what you wear – just come to worship God and get to know us.
What do I bring?
You can bring your Bible if you have one, but everything you need is provided in the Sanctuary pews for your convenience.
When do I need to arrive?
Worship is Sunday mornings at 8:45 am for the classic service (traditional) and 11:00 am for New Traditions worship (contemporary), with Sunday School and Small Groups at 10:00 am. Plan to be at the church 15 minutes ahead of time to allow ample time for parking, which is free at all metered spots and in the Bicentennial Garage (one short block away) on Sundays.
What do I do with my children?
West Chester United Methodist Church has excellent programs for children. You can find nursery and Sunday School options for all ages here. Stop by the Welcome Desk when you first enter at the top of the stairs for help finding room locations.
What about Child Security?
Child security is taken very seriously at West Chester United Methodist Church.
